The Parador de Aiguablava stands on top of a cliff on Cape Balgur, right on the edge of the Punta dés Muts peninsula, situated on the Costa Brava. The closest town is Figueras, which is the birthplace of the genial Spanish painter Salvador Dalí and it holds a museum dedicated to his life in the town. Barcelona city centre can be reached after 60 minutes driving and the nearest airports are Girona and Barcelona at 54 and 137 km respectively.
